The gnu sed fixed it.

Try using GNU sed. The sed in Solaris is known to be a bit..buggy.

Have CVS'ed the source for the past couple of days and all fail
in the libtool ld for sapi/cli/php with
ld: elf error: file ext/xml/: unknown type, unable to process using
elf(3E) libraries
ld: Fatal: File processing errors. no output written to a.out
collect2: ls returned 1 exit status
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal Error: Command failed for target 'sapi/cli/php'
in reviewing the libtool command, all ext/xml/'s are followed by a
file.lo and are in the proper format. When I try to execute the
command manually, replacing the .lo's with .o's,
I get the same error, but with a different semi-file name.
It appears to be a command length issue, but the SA's here
say that I'm not bumping against any known limits.
