From: rainer dot jung at kippdata dot de Operating system: All PHP version: 5.6.0alpha2 Package: *Compile Issues Bug Type: Bug Bug description:configure doesn't define EXPANDED_DATADIR / PHP_DATADIR correctly Description: ------------ configure is used to determine EXPANDED_DATADIR, which in turn is used to set PHP_DATADIR in main/build-defs.h.in / main/build-defs.h. configure sets EXPANDED_DATADIR from datadir, which in turn is set to '$datarootdir' and then eval'ed once. Now datarootdir is set to '${prefix}/shared', so first datadir is set to '$datarootdir', then once eval'ed to '${prefix}/shared' as a verbatim string.
