From: chibisuke at web dot de Operating system: all PHP version: Irrelevant Package: *Web Server problem Bug Type: Feature/Change Request Bug description:make default status code configurable Description: ------------ Currently PHP sends a HTTP/200 Success Status code to the browser if it recived a CONNECT request. Game goes for webdav requests like PROPFIND, DELETE ect. Most scripts are not ment to handle this kind of requests, so it would make sense to allow modifying the default status code of such requests. For example in case of a CONNECT replying HTTP/200 is plain simply wrong unless in verify specific cases where PHP actually is proxying stuff. So I suggest to create ini directive which HTTP Status codes to reply by default. Any change by a user script can then happen using the header() function. as defaults I'd suggest to use HTTP/405 for CONNECT, anything else should return HTTP/200 for now. This default should later be changed to HTTP/405 for anything beside GET and POST once ppl had time to ajust their scripts. -- Edit bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=67013&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.4): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=trysnapshot54 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.5): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=trysnapshot55 Try a snapshot (trunk): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=fixed Fixed in release: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=needscript Try newer version: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=oldversion Not developer issue: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=support Expected behavior: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=notwrong Not enough info: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=submittedtwice register_globals: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=php4 Daylight Savings: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=dst IIS Stability: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=gnused Floating point limitations: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=float No Zend Extensions: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=67013&r=mysqlcfg
