I don't believe we support building with cygwin.

Compile under Cygwin.
$ ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --without-mysql
...
$ make
...
$ make install
...
Making install in .
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/php-4.2.2'
/usr/src/php-4.2.2/build/shtool mkdir -p "/usr/lib/apache"
&& /usr/sbin/apxs -S LIBEXECDIR="/usr/lib/apache" -i -a -n
php4 libs/libphp4.so
apxs:Error: file libs/libphp4.so is not a DSO
make[1]: *** [install-sapi] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php-4.2.2'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
I've attempted typing:
$ ls ./libs
libphp4.a libphp4.la
File libphp4.sl or libphp4.so or libphp4.dll not exist.
Can anyone help out?
