Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-09 03:12:32] phpbug@spambox.dk If youre building an apache module and want to build the php binary as well, you should use -enable-cli according to the manual at http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.commandline.php This builds the php binary, but it is not "installed" by "make install". My configure looks like this: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --enable-cli --without-pear --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-gd=/usr/local --with-t1lib --with-iconv --with-jpeg-dir --with-png-dir --with-tiff-dir --with-zlib-dir --with-freetype-dir=/usr/local/include/freetype2/freetype --with-xpm-dir=/usr/X11R6 --with-openssl=/usr --with-imap --with-gettext --with-zlib --with-pdflib --enable-exif --enable-ftp --enable-bcmath --with-mcrypt --with-dom --with-expat-dir=/usr/local --with-snmp=/usr/local --enable-ucd-snmp-hack --enable-sockets --enable-xslt --with-xslt-sablot --enable-sablot-errors-descriptive --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/etc --with-tsrm-pth --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs And with this i supposed that the php binary should be installed in /usr/local/bin by "make install" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19303&edit=1
