From: worldoffame at hotmail dot com Operating system: Irrelevant PHP version: Irrelevant Package: HTTP related Bug Type: Feature/Change Request Bug description:HTTP extension bundle with future PHP versions? Description: ------------ This is yet another request to bundle highly useful PECL extensions into PHP core. HTTP extension offers a lot of useful features that every code will find neat and valuable, unfortunate it's on PECL which means not all of us will have access to it. Like I said before, if you are a software developer like me creating a script for client users who are mostly Shared Hosts or VPS users, they wont be able to install PECL extensions. I hope to see HTTP extension in PHP core starting from PHP 7, lemme know if anyone mind responding to this request. Note: In case you do not know what I am talking about, take a look at the link below for the HTTP extension package. Its currently on PECL, and we need it in PHP core: http://php.net/manual/en/intro.http.php -- Edit bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=68898&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.4): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=trysnapshot54 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.5): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=trysnapshot55 Try a snapshot (trunk): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=fixed Fixed in release: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=needscript Try newer version: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=oldversion Not developer issue: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=support Expected behavior: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=notwrong Not enough info: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=submittedtwice register_globals: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=php4 Daylight Savings: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=dst IIS Stability: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=gnused Floating point limitations: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=float No Zend Extensions: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=68898&r=mysqlcfg
