From: vali2015 at validom dot de Operating system: Debian PHP version: 5.4.37 Package: cURL related Bug Type: Bug Bug description:CURLOPT_IPRESOLVE change for next curl_exec has no effect Description: ------------ When using multiple curl_exec calls but using different CURLOPT_IPRESOLVE settings, the first setting takes effect regardless of what you set in the next calls. Test script: --------------- Precondition: two hosts with IPv4 AND IPv6. Place the script returning your remote address on one server and the test-script on the other. Execute the test-script. Code: http://pastebin.com/M1tfCtuq The test-script eliminates cache-issues on both servers by using random additions to the URL fetched Expected result: ---------------- CURLOPT_IPRESOLVE should take effect on each call, especially in combination with CURLOPT_FRESH_CONNECT Actual result: -------------- there is always the connection-type used which was used for the first connect -- Edit bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=69047&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.4): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=trysnapshot54 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.5): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=trysnapshot55 Try a snapshot (trunk): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=fixed Fixed in release: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=needscript Try newer version: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=oldversion Not developer issue: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=support Expected behavior: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=notwrong Not enough info: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=submittedtwice register_globals: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=php4 Daylight Savings: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=dst IIS Stability: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=gnused Floating point limitations: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=float No Zend Extensions: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=69047&r=mysqlcfg
