From: fred0226@yahoo.com Operating system: Windows 2000 PHP version: 4.2.2 PHP Bug Type: MySQL related Bug description: cant assign value returned by mysql_error to a variable Having a problem with the following code line: $ErrMsg = mysql_error(); No value is assigned to the $ErrMsg variable; However print "mySql error: " . mysql_error(); does echo the error message to the browser. What am I doing wrong or is this really a bug?
