ID: 19353 Updated by: kalowsky@php.net Reported By: Markus.Henze@Student.Uni-Augsburg.DE -Status: Feedback +Status: Closed Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem Operating System: Suse Linux 7.3 PHP Version: 4.2.3 New Comment: Marking as closed, as per user feedback Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-12 04:27:19] steveh@brendata.co.uk The problem has been resolved in the snapshot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-11 08:55:00] sniper@php.net Please try using this CVS snapshot: http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz For Windows: http://snaps.php.net/win32/php4-win32-latest.zip ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-09-11 04:33:06] Markus.Henze@Student.Uni-Augsburg.DE When submitting multiple (input-)fields as an array within a form , PHP 4.2.3 drops text-parts of the submitted values within these fields. Example: <? print implode($_POST['hello'],","); <form method = "post"> <input type="text" name="hello[]" /> <input type="text" name="hello[]" /> <input type="submit" value="submit" /> </form> ?> When you put "hello world" in the first box and "nice weather today" in the second one, only the following text is returned by the implode-command: "o world, eather today". Replacing implode with foreach does not solve the problem. Apache 1.3.26 is being used as webserver. Zend Optimizer is also installed on the system, which is a SuSE Linux 7.3 box. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19353&edit=1
