Description:
------------
Hi, I'm the maintainer of PHP in the MacPorts package management system.
On a 64-bit Mac running OS X 10.10.4, with PHP 7.0.0beta1 compiled universal (for both x86_64 and
i386), the opcache extension builds fine for x86_64 alone but not for i386 alone, nor universal (for
x86_64 and i386 together). The error is:
php-7.0.0beta1/ext/opcache/zend_accelerator_util_funcs.c:160:36: error: too few arguments provided
to function-like macro invocation
ptr = accel_xlat_get(Z_REF_P(src));
^
This is a regression as compared to PHP 5.6.11 and 5.5.27 where the opcache extension builds
successfully for both x86_64 and i386 on the same system.
The compiler being used here is:
$ clang -v
Apple LLVM version 6.1.0 (clang-602.0.53) (based on LLVM 3.6.0svn)
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin14.4.0
Thread model: posix
In case it is relevant, we package each bundled PHP extension, including opcache, as a
separately-installable unit. To do this, we build each extension separately, using phpize,
configure, make and make install.
