Assuming not, because that would be silly, what is the exact command you are executing and what are the contents of the PHP file you are trying to lint check? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2017-06-18 12:58:20] silver dot zachara at gmail dot com Description: ------------ I tried this on latest php 7.1.2 and 7.2alpha1, was tried with default php.ini-development config file, this words in php.ini file cause php -l c:\php\php.ini to fail '<?php' and '<?='.
