ID: 3835 Updated by: hholzgra@php.net Reported By: wico@cnh.nl -Status: Open +Status: Won\'t fix Bug Type: Reproducible Crash Operating System: linux PHP Version: 3.0 Latest CVS (15/03/2000) New Comment: We are sorry, but can not support PHP 3 related problems anymore. Momentum is gathering for PHP 5, and we think supporting PHP 3 will lead to a waste of resources which we want to put into getting PHP 5 ready. Ofcourse PHP 4 will will continue to be supported for the forseeable future. in php 4 this gives an eplanatory error message Fatal error: func_get_args(): Can't be used as a function parameter in - on line 8 Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2000-03-15 07:29:38] wico@cnh.nl Hiya should explain enough: <? function wico () { // this works $args = func_get_args(); $args = implode(",", $args); // this segfaults $args = implode(",", func_get_args()); // make sure something should be displayed echo "PLOP ($args)"; } Wico("Andy and Zeev this doesn't work :("); ?> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=3835&edit=1
