I can't reproduce this with PHP 7.2beta2.

When accessing with / at the end of uri with extension,
PHP source code is displayed.
BUG in PHP build-in server : PHP 7.2, 7.1 ,7.0
(There is no bug in PHP 5.x)
(1) php -S localhost:8080
(2) curl "http://localhost:8080/index.php/"
Test script:

Expected result:

The PHP script is executed.
Actual result:
