From: loge@moregroupware.org Operating system: Win32 / Linux PHP version: 4.1.2 PHP Bug Type: URL related Bug description: fopen() problems with subdomain opening files short description of environment. I am requesting from win32 browser to linux webapplication. i defined a subdomain in hosts file (win32) that points to the linux server. following line: $fp = @fopen ("http://mgwdev.logelinux/index.php", "r"); this returns false even i know that this url is correct. i typed it 100 times in the browser. This line $fp = @fopen ("http://logelinux/moregroupware_dev/index.php", "r"); will return true, but its the same location. mgwdev.logelinux is a virtual host in apache. I am a little bit clueless. I didnt found any comments on this. I hope i am not weird. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=15974&edit=1 -- Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=15974&r=submittedtwice
