#19784 [NEW]: file_exists doesn't work

From: m.martinello@iol.it Operating system: Linux 2.4.18 PHP version: 4.2.3 PHP Bug Type: *Directory/Filesystem functions Bug description: file_exists doesn't work I am using php 4.2.3 with httpd 2.0.43. The functions file_exists, is_file and file_size doesn't work at all. file_exists("file.txt"); gives me "false" even if the file "file.txt" exists in the same directory of the script containing that function. If I use the full path of "file.txt", file_exists("/full/path/to/file.txt"); gives me "true" and works well. How to solve this problem?
