By crafting a smaller WSDL and test script we've narrowed it down to GC_PROTECT_RECURSION but can not really trace it further ourselves. We've confirmed it on debian, centos and alpine packages. However it seems to work as intended (no crash) on Mac OS. Also tried 7.3.1 RC1. Test script: --------------- schema.wsdl, php test script and gdb back trace: https://gist.github.com/brother/f646c9f38816ca4c60980fe56ed2d249 Actual result: -------------- Segmentation fault ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=77410&edit=1
