This script will make the setver to crash down
<?php
$filepointer = gzopen("somefile.txt","rb");
gzclose($filepointer);
echo "<script>
window.location='$_SERVER[REQUEST_URI]';
</script>";
?>
At my apache web server this crash after 508 loops.
