LDAPBIND causes the script to crash to OS. Sample code below. It works as expected in all previous
versions of PHP 7.2.x, 7.1.x, 7.0.x etc. Not tested with 7.3.1.
Test script:

$ldapconn = ldap_connect('ldaps://my.ldap.url');
if ($ldapconn) {
try {
$ldapbind = ldap_bind($ldapconn, 'myuser', 'mypass');
echo 'This is never displayed';
} catch (Exception $e) {
echo 'This never gets displayed';
}
}
