From: alan@akbkhome.com Operating system: linux PHP version: 4CVS-2002-10-10 PHP Bug Type: Class/Object related Bug description: is_object returns FALSE on Incomplete classes Steps to reproduce a) generate a serialized class eg. class atest { var $t = 1; } $t = new atest; $fh = fopen('/tmp/test','w'); fwrite($fh,serialize($t)); fclose($fh); ---------------------- In another file $data = unserialize(file_get_contents('/tmp/test')); if (!is_object($data)) { echo "DATA is an ".gettype($b)."!\n"; } } ---- should output DATA is an object! It's on the verge of expected behaviour, but it would be nice if it worked :) -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19842&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=trysnapshot Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19842&r=isapi
