We are sorry about the inconvenience, but this change was a necessary part of our efforts to make PHP scripting more secure and portable. $PHP_SELF is found in $_SERVER like 'PATH_TRANSLATED' is.. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-15 16:46:18] pglobal@pglobal.net When I try to start apache (2.0.43) with the module php4apache2.dll loaded it doesn't allow apache to start, I've tried to install php 4.24-dev and aparently it works but when I try a script like this one: <? $dp = str_replace(basename($PHP_SELF), '', $_SERVER['PATH_TRANSLATED']); echo $dp; ?> it simply doen't gives any result.
