So, would this also happen with PHP 7.4? Note though, that the interbase extension is unbundled as of PHP 7.4.0, because it has known issues, and no maintainer who was actually working on that extension has been found. Since no release is available on PECL[2], you're likely better off to switch to PDO_Firebird.
