From: scott at scott-corcoran dot com Operating system: linux PHP version: Next Minor Version Package: POSIX related Bug Type: Feature/Change Request Bug description:renameat2 / RENAME_EXCHANGE Description: ------------ I suppose it is not currently possible even with contexts, but can find immediate benefit in having renameat2 / RENAME_EXCHANGE especially in high-traffic threaded concurrency critical situations. Anybody who remembers the VAX or knows anything about operating systems can tell you why. Just one thing now which will prevent multiple changes later.
