Yeah, [several never implemented methods are removed as of PHP
8.0.0](https://heap.space/search?project=PHP-7.4&project=PHP-8.0&full=&defs=&refs=DOM_NOT_IMPLEMENTED&path=&hist=&type=).
The migration guide [mentions only removed
classes](https://www.php.net/manual/en/migration80.incompatible.php#migration80.incompatible.dom)
and as such is incomplete. This is, however, a documentation issue.
