I don't think this related to any particular PHP version, since this is handled by libc-client.
And [its documentation
states](https://github.com/winlibs/imap/blob/7cce79fdcde62c8d95881c56c1058778e3543efe/docs/rfc/rfc3501.txt#L2947-L2948):
> UNKEYWORD <flag>
> Messages that do not have the specified keyword flag set.
So it looks like the PHP manual is in error, since [it states](https://www.php.net/imap_search):
> UNKEYWORD "string" - match messages that do not have the keyword "string"
Please try:
````php
$SearchQuery ='TO "bob@yahoo.com" NOT "rosebud" SUBJECT "Citizen
Kane"';
$Result=imap_search($Connection,$SearchQuery);
````
