I used this patch, based on the patch you proposed:

PHP 8.0 was compiled successfuly.
But now is crashing not only in
pkill -HUP 1234 (where 1234 is apache2 PID)
- but also crashes on "rcctl restart apache2"
- and also crashes on "rcctl stop apache2"
