Does the test also fail with PHP 8.0 and/or 8.1? Otherwise it is moot to have a closer look, since
PHP 7.4 is no longer actively supported.

Apparently, the failure is:

I cannot reproduce this with MySQL (neither 5.6 nor 8.0). Which database server do you use?
