Issue: https://github.com/php/php-src/issues/11907 Author: ritesh277coe I noticed that many stable versions of PHP has ``#define PHP_EXTRA_VERSION "-dev"`` in php_version.h. For instance: https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/master/main/php_version.h https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/PHP-8.1.22/main/php_version.h https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/PHP-8.2.8/main/php_version.h Can you please explain what is rationale behind this. I understand that I can change configure.ac to fix this. Thanks
