### Description
Hi I'm testing some of my apps with php 8.2 (from php 7.4)
(from debian 11 to 12)
and I'm surprised by the amount of breaking changes.
sizeof requires is_countable
func_get_args dies if no argument is present
problems with instantiated classes properties
and the fixes are not simple at all,
on the documentation and the various forums.
You can tell me 'skill issue' as much as you want
but I don't see how enforcing those things gives a better developer experience.
If I wanted a more strict language I wouldn't use php.
I see many languages going toward more complexity and feature creep
resulting in looking all the same in the process.
The GO devs added 1 thing in 10 years: generics.
And that's it.
Your project your rules but I think you are losing touch with your userbase
which is self-taught people, indian freelancers and wordpress plugins devs.
You may not feel it because you are great coders, this is your life,
but not everyone experiences much pleasure in learning about namespaces, public and private,
inheritance, interfaces, traits
and the ever increasing complex features you are adding to the core.
Good luck.
