Apparently according to the mysql website, the 'mysql_drop_db' call has been deprecated in favor of issuing a plain "DROP DATABASE <foobar>" query instead. So presumably, altering the library to issue a mysql_query() instead of a simple_command() should do the trick. I'm going to patch my copy and see if it works.
