Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately you are not using a current version of PHP --
the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new
PHP version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php
If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest

Same problem with all subsequent versions of PHP. 4.2.3 compiled fine
as a module, but on start, I get:
Starting httpd: httpd Syntax error on line 283 of
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so into server:
/usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: __log1p
Note: line 283 is "LoadModule php4_module
lib/apache/libphp4.so"
