I've tried to compile php 4.3.0 with following options: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/php-4.3.0 \ --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs \ --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl \ --with-informix=/services/informix \ --with-gd \ --with-curl \ --enable-gd-native-ttf \ --with-png-dir=/usr/local \ --with-zlib-dir=/usr/local \ --with-pgsql=/usr/local/pgsql \ --with-mysql=/services/mysql I have no problems with configure, but make produces following error: ... mysql_init ext/mysql/php_mysql.lo png_set_PLTE ext/gd/libgd/gd_png.lo ERR_get_error ext/openssl/openssl.lo PQdb ext/pgsql/pgsql.lo cos ext/gd/libgd/gd.lo X509_NAME_get_entry ext/openssl/openssl.lo sqli_connect_set ext/informix/ifx.lo connect main/network.lo ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors.
