Bug Type: Unknown/Other Function
Operating System: Linux 7.2, Zend 2.1
PHP Version: 4.3.1
New Comment:
I've upgraded to PHP 4.3.1 (from 4.2.2). The install went without a
hitch.
Now, any php file at all leaves the error i mentioned on the bottom of
the page, rendering PHP unusable.
By Zend I mean Zend Optimizer v2.1.0. I don't think it is related to
the problem.

Even just a simple phpinfo
<?
phpinfo();
?>
Leaves this error on the bottom of the page:
Fatal error: Nesting level too deep - recursive dependency? in Unknown
on line 0
