When I orriginally Installed RedHat 8.0 with php it didn't configure it
to work with mysql. so I downloaded the source and compiled with:
./compile --prefix=/usr/local/php \
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \
--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
however when I run a <?php phpinfo() ?> the configure command line has
something compleatly different and, more importantly, dosen't contain
anything about mysql. and when I run a page with ...
mysql_connect(...)... it says
fatal error no function mysql_connect()
or something simalar.
please help me out!!
Chris
