PHP Bug Type: Session related
Bug description: session.autostart = 1 prevents session data retention accross page executions
when php.ini session.autostart is set to 1
the session file is created in /tmp and keys can be registered via
session_register() functions.
data can be assigned to the keys using the super global array $_SESSION
and access in the scope of the page execution.
On the next access of the session, the keys are still registered, but the
data is missing.
The above issue occurs regardless of the use of session_start().
When session.autostart is set to 0, and the session_start() command is
used, sessions work normally.
