Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system
is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.
Thank you for your interest in PHP.
PHP replies on the output of the mail_fetchbody_full() function, which
is part of the client library. Therefor there is nothing php can do if
that function does crash.

The following code produces an abnormal program termination.
The imap_fetchbody has deliberately been written to access a message
that doesn't exist (e.g. when someone else is modifying the mailbox).
I s'pect the expected behaviour should be a catchable warning.
<?
if ($mbox = @imap_open ("{10.5.0.4:110/pop3}INBOX", "***", "***"))
{
imap_fetchheader($mbox, 1);
imap_fetchbody($mbox, 3, "1");
}
?>
