In the php.ini file, I have set: 'session.save_path = ".;e:/program files/webserver/php/tmp"' but i also tried: 'session.save_path = e:/program files/webserver/php/tmp' and more similar values(8 letter names like progra~1, going up directories instead of giving the full path) but the session storage simply does not work. The rest of the session part in php.ini is as following: 'session.save_handler = files session.use_cookies = 1 ; session.use_only_cookies = 1 session.name = SESSION session.auto_start = 0 session.cookie_lifetime = 0 session.cookie_path = / session.cookie_domain = session.serialize_handler = php session.gc_probability = 1 session.gc_dividend = 100 session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440 session.bug_compat_42 = off session.bug_compat_warn = off session.referer_check = session.entropy_length = 0 session.entropy_file = ;session.entropy_length = 16 ;session.entropy_file = /dev/urandom session.cache_limiter = nocache session.cache_expire = 180 session.use_trans_sid = 0' The warning I get back is: 'Warning: session_start() [function.session-start< /a>]: open(/tmp\sess_a1eaccb1acf2e731c362a96de932fe71, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in E:\program files\Webserver\www-docs\pcactief\admin\index.php on line 8
' The part about this warning that surprised me most was '/tmp\sess_a1eaccb1acf2e731c362a96de932fe71', even if I renamed the directory to /temp or /temporary (in the php.ini file and on my harddisk). Resetting the server does not work. Does anyone else have this problem? And how can i solve this?
