From: bill at tothept dot com Operating system: Redhat 9 PHP version: 4.3.2RC2 PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: make error with apxs Make fails with the following: ext/ctype/ctype.lo: file not recognized: File truncated collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1 This occurs with either ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs but not ./configure This is in an attempt to get php to load with apache2.045, where I get an error: ./apachectl start httpd: module "/usr/src/build/228709-i386/BUILD/php-4.2.2/sapi/apache2filter/sapi_apache2.c" is not compatible with this version of Apache (found 20020628, need 20020903). Please contact the vendor for the correct version.
