I will add two things: * php4_execute: as you explained using zend_alter_ini_entry(...., PHP_INI_USER, PHP_INI_STAGE_RUNTIME); * php4_init: the possibility to give the path to another php.ini file ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-01-24 05:28:57] sniper@php.net In php.ini you can only set one value for the various php configuration variables (doc_root, open_basedir etc.). It is possible to compile php with different paths to php.ini and set the values there, but it won't work with virtual servers.
