From: nathan@cjhunter.com Operating system: Linux PHP version: 4.1.2 PHP Bug Type: Feature/Change Request Bug description: Reference to function namespace variables I request that there be an associative array variable for each function that references the local name space of that function, similar to how the $GLOBALS variable works but endemic only to that function. Suggestions for possible names for this variable: $FUNCTION $_FUNCTION $LOCAL $_LOCAL i.e. function test(){ $_FUNCTION['abc'] = 'Hello'; echo $abc; } My reason for requesting this is so that I can have global functions function test(){ $_FUNCTION = &$GLOBALS; ) -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=16437&edit=1 -- Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=16437&r=submittedtwice
