My distro is missing this file as well whats more on a Windows XP
machine(when I had found this file).Not only did it not work even after
copying all files to correct directories but for some reason they
became deleted on the first run.Now I need to find this file again.If
anyone has had any luck getting this to work on XP with IIS and PHP5
let me know otherwise I'm reverting to PHP4.

You don't need it, MySQL support is compiled in.

where can i find the file php_mysql.dll ??!?!??
(which is NOT in the distribution of php)
