#26022 [NEW]: Unable compile "dns.c", unable to link "libphp4.so"

PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Unable compile "dns.c", unable to link "libphp4.so"

On MacOS X 10.3 (Darwin 7.0) using gcc 3.3:

Cannot compile "dns.c" (missing symbols T_MX and more).
Fixed by include:
#include <nameser8_compat.h>
on "dns.c"
-----
Cannot link "libphp4.so" (unresolved symbols _res_9_...)
Fixed by add "-lresolv" to "EXTRA_LIBS" in "Makefile"
Reproduce code:

Take "Panther" and pure "PHP 4.3.3"!
Expected result:
----------------
libphp4.so
Actual result:
--------------
Error "undefined symbols"
Error "unresolved symbols"
