From: andy at nortrupdevelopment dot net Operating system: Mandrake Linux 9.2 PHP version: 5.0.0b2 (beta2) PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: ./configure not seeing libxml2 installation Description: ------------ When I run ./configure to install PHP I recive the following error: configure: error: xml2-config not found. Please check your libxml2 installation. I have the libxml2 rpm installed, but it is not being recognized. I have unistalled and reinstalled libxml2 without effect. Attempting to install with the following hardware/software configuratration: Mandrake 9.1 Apache 2.0.48 on a AMD Athalon system.
