Bug Type: Apache related
Operating System: macos x server 10.3
PHP Version: 4.3.4
New Comment:
Report this to the c-client author. It's not PHP problem that c-client
happens to not use any kind of sane naming for functions. This is not
the only conflict this library causes..
(and maybe also this apple_auth_module author should consider using
some better names for the functions used in the module)

Description:
------------
There is a conflict between apple_auth_module and
php4_module on macos x server (at least on
10.3, but it appears to be the same on 10.2) if you
compile php4 + imap , in your log you see :
dyld: /usr/sbin/httpd Undefinded symbols:
_checkpw
If php4 module is loaded first it solve the conflict, I
found the fix here :
http://www.plaidworks.com/chuqui/blog/000457.html
For your information, I'me the maintener of php4 with
darwinports package system (http://
darwinports.opendarwin.org), so If you could help me to
provide a patch to solve the problem ... :)
