From: TomSoftware at gmx dot de Operating system: win2k PHP version: 4.3.4 PHP Bug Type: Date/time related Bug description: microtime() <> time() Description: ------------ The command time() and the microtime() command return a different value. It seems to be one day different (60s * 60 * 24 = 86400). Perhaps it's a Time zone problem (Germany +1h but not +1Day). Regards Thomas Reproduce code: --------------- <?PHP echo time() ."<br>"; list($usec, $sec) = explode(" ",microtime()); echo $sec ."<br>"; echo (time() - $sec) /60 /60 /24; //-- = 1 Day ?> Expected result: ---------------- time() == microtime() Actual result: -------------- time() == (microtime()+86400) -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=26970&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=trysnapshot5 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=26970&r=float
