For Windows:
http://snaps.php.net/win32/php5-win32-latest.zip
And remove all PHP related dlls first! (especially php5ts.dll)

The Exception implementation appears buggy under Win XP with Apache 2.
When the reproduce code is run a couple of time by refreshing the
browser (IE 6 SP2), Apache 2 crashes.
