New Comment:
Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at
http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to
report
a bug at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php
The behavior is different for ZTS and non-zts modes.

Description:
------------
When including a file the handling of paths differs between linux and
windows.
When including a file from a file which has already been included the
second level include paths are different. Windows recalculates the ./
path for each included script while linux just uses the ./ path from
the first script accessed. This means relative paths cannot be used.
Obviously the windows method is the correct one.
