This works fine with PHP 4.2.0. Also, make sure you're
accessing the post vars from the $_POST[] array.

On IE6, Windows XP Pro, PHP 4.1.2 I'm seeing some strange stuff when my
form includes more than JUST the image.
Somtimes the variables don't get passed to the script but the file
doesn; sometiems none of it gets passed.

When I use a form with ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" all the variables
that should exist from the post are not set.
Here is an example of the form:
<form action="imagens.php" method="post"
ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data">
<input type="hidden" name="acrescentar" value="true">
<input type="hidden" name="ID" value="$ID">
<p>Nome: <input type="text" size="20" name="nome"
value=""></p>
<p>Ficheiro: <input type="file" name="upfile"></p>
<p><input type="submit" name="submitar">
<input type="reset" name="resetar"></p>
</form>
The variable $acrescentar, $ID, $nome and $upfile are not set
I don't know if it is a bug of PHP, or something my ISP changed in the
configuration file, but this worked and now it doesn't.
Sorry my bad english
