Hi, I have installed and configured, Linux AS 2.1+ Apache 1.3.29+PHP
4.3.6--->
System Linux 2.4.9-e.34smp #1 SMP Wed Dec 10 16:52:22 EST 2003 i686
Configure Command
'./configure' '--prefix=/usr/local/php' '--with-xml'
'--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql-standard-4.0.16-pc-linux-i686' '--with-gd'
'--with-jpeg' '--with-zlib' '--with-png'
'--enable-track-vars'
'--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs'

==>I have set the register_globals=On however, I still can not pass the
var the old way mypage?myvar=var.
I can get $myvar only if I use :
$newvar=$_get["myvar"];
It does not work if I do this:
$newvar=$myvar;
I do not get anything even though the register_globals are set to
on....Please advise....Regards --jh
Reproduce code:

//the avbove out put=> Hello
$newvar=$_get["myvar"];
echo "Hello the new way $newvar";
//the output of the above is => Hello "whatever is typed after the ?";
