MYSQLI_BOTH should be the default value for mysqli_fetch_array. I'm also using MySQL 4.1.3beta Reproduce code: --------------- while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)){ echo $row[0]; } Expected result: ---------------- $row[0] should return the first column of the query.
