Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-10-10 00:53:51] tim.lokot@s1.com.au Is it possible to have the IMap function accept authentication over SMTP? Currently they dont support it, but there are times (increasingly more and more) where you need to authenticate with a mail server that has turned off mail relaying. Refer: RFC2554 URL: ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc2554.txt I have had to resort to using an exteral cgi to send my emails rather than php becuase of this issue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=13623&edit=1
